How to Properly Size a Weathervane

Medium Size Weathervanes
These weathervanes are typically sized for smaller buildings including sheds and gazebos. This size best fits cupolas between 14" and 18" wide.

Standard Size Weathervanes
These weathervanes are typically best sized for houses, garages, and other buildings with rooflines exceeding 18 feet. Standard weathervanes best fit cupolas between 22"-36" wide.

These large weathervanes are designed for large houses, barns, and other buildings exceeding 2 stories or with rooflines beyond 36'. Large weathervanes look best on 42"-60" cupolas and larger.
